Best Marketing Campaign: Offices

This category is open to marketing campaigns for the sale or letting of any UK office developments.  It will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, creative execution and results achieved.  

Best Marketing Campaign: Industrial and Logistics

This category is open to marketing campaigns for the sale or letting of any UK industrial or logistics space.  It will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, creative execution and results achieved.  

Best Marketing Campaign: Alternative Asset Class

This category is open to marketing campaigns for ‘alternative asset classes’ in property such as hotels, senior living, student housing, healthcare, car parks, automotive sector and self-storage. It will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, creative execution and results achieved.  

Best Marketing Campaign: Place-Making, Mixed-use and Retail

This category will be awarded to the campaign which most effectively promotes either a place, e.g. a town or city, high street or town centre, business park or Business Improvement District or cultural district, or relates to the sale or letting of any UK retail or mixed-use space.  Entries are eligible from public, private or voluntary bodies and/or the agencies working on their behalf.  The category will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, creative execution and results achieved.

Best Marketing Campaign: Residential

This category is open to marketing campaigns for any UK residential scheme including build to rent and shared ownership schemes.  It will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, creative execution and results achieved.

Best Website

This category is open to any website related to real estate, including both corporate and product sites.  It will be judged on performance against business goals (i.e. business results delivered) as well as creative execution.    

Best Use of Film (including digital) NEW

This category is open to any corporate or product related video project.  It will be judged on: content, creative idea and execution, distribution and evidence of impact/results.  

Best CSR Communications Campaign NEW

This category is open to any organisation working in the real estate industry.  Entries will be judged on the quality of their CSR Communications Campaign.  Criteria will include the quality and creativity of their communications as well as the results delivered in terms of CSR impact as measured against stated campaign objectives. 

Best Brand Experience NEW

This category is open to any organisation working in the real estate industry and covers temporary/ campaign related branded spaces and experiences. This can include display stands, marketing suites, pop ups and exhibitions.  It will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, creative execution and results achieved. 

Best Branded Space Design NEW

This award recognises the role of marketing teams in creating compelling depictions of brand in workplace or residential design projects.  The category is open to any organisation working in the real estate industry and covers brand experience delivered through the fit out of workplaces, retail or residential property design. It will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, creative execution and results achieved.  

Best Use of PR including Social Media Campaigns NEW

This category is open to any organisation working in the real estate industry. Entries should show excellent use of PR, including social media, to achieve a campaign objective. Entries will be judged on creativity as well as a clear strategy, targeted approach and results delivered (media coverage and/or brand/lead generation activity).

Best Use of Live Event Marketing NEW

This category is open to any organisation working in the real estate industry. Entries should show creative use of live events to achieve a stated objective. Entries will be judged on creativity, innovative approach, targeted approach and results delivered (in terms of attendees and business benefit).

Best Corporate Brand Campaign

Entries for this category should be for campaigns which have promoted a brand, company, business or organisation, (Campaigns promoting a specific development or product should be included in the relevant asset class category). It will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, creative execution and results achieved.

Best Content Marketing

This category is designed to recognise excellence in thought leadership, brand publishing and editorial content. Eligible are Annual Reports, White Papers, research reports or studies, customer magazines, blogs, videos etc. B2B and B2C work are both eligible, and the medium can be print, digital or an integrated combination. It will be judged based on the quality of the strategic approach, innovative content created, creative execution, targeted distribution and results achieved.

Property Marketing Team of the Year

What makes your team really special? What have you done to make talent and culture a priority? Tell the judges how your people efforts have helped the business to achieve over and above the norm, whether in the face of adversity or through recognising an opportunity. This category is for in-house marketing teams/ departments. It will be judged based on evidence submitted of teamwork and collaboration, effectiveness and business impact. The relative size of teams will be taken into consideration when judging the category.

Grand Prix

The winner of the PMA 2021 Grand Prix is selected by the jury from the category winners.
